Obstetric ultrasounds assess foetal growth and development during pregnancy, while gynaecological ultrasounds are used to assist and investigate symptoms such as pelvic pain, irregular bleeding, fibroids or ovarian cysts. All scans are performed by qualified sonographers and reviewed by a radiologist, with results sent directly to your referring doctor.
