Early Detection with Lung Screening at United Radiology

United Radiology is a service provider for the National Lung Cancer Screening Program.

Lung screening involves a low-dose CT scan of the chest to support radiologists in identifying early abnormalities in the lungs before symptoms develop. Unlike standard CT scans, the low-dose CT used for screening minimises radiation exposure while providing high-quality images of lung tissue.

This targeted scan is specifically designed for patients at risk of lung cancer due to smoking history and other risk factors. Results are reviewed by our specialist radiologists and reported back to your referring doctor for clinical management.
